We first met Adolfas and his team when he was gutting and completely renovating our neighbour’s house in North London. He came very highly recommended from our neighbour, and we are delighted to have chosen him for our project. We own a North London terrace (have done for ~15 years) and prior to returning from several years living in the US (house was rented out during this period) and our project was to essentially strip-out and rebuild the house from the inside. Brand new floors, windows, walls, kitchen, 2x bathrooms, brand new under-stair WC, new rear extension and new electrics and plumbing. Adolfas worked seamlessly with our architect (they had never worked together before) and considering that a) COVID restrictions were still in place and b) we were remote (in the US) during most of the project we were thrilled with the outcome. The attention to detail on the small things (the bathroom tiling is perfectly centred, the kitchen counters are so level that a spilled puddle of water simply doesn’t flow away in any direction) and his solution-oriented mindset to the larger issues are key reasons why we’d recommend him and the team to anyone, as we already have done to many friends and neighbours. In addition, he created floor to ceiling cupboards in all three bedrooms - the precision of which has to be seen to be believed. Adolfas has also been incredibly responsive to subsequent (smaller) requests for help, such as lateral damp from any outside wall and a leak in our roof. His crew also dug and set a brand new manhole cavity for main sewer access - work so good it was commented upon by the drain CCTV and sewer experts. My wife and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Adolfas and his team. He is an absolutely first-class person and a first-class builder.
